Away we go as
the "preseason" college football games kick off tonight (or have already, really). I assure
you I picked a Virginia-Colorado State winner prior to the game taking place.
GAME OF THE WEEK
Texas Tech (0-0) at No. 12 Ohio State (0-0)
This is the weakest "Game of the Week" we'll see all year, but what do you want? None of the early-season "classics" are ever much to write home about, but there are a few intriguing matchups, and this is one of them. The Red Raiders will need a big, big game out of "Heisman candidate" quarterback Kliff Kingsbury to have a shot in this one, because the fact of the matter is that while Tech should be a bowl team, Ohio State is simply the superior football team in this game. The Buckeyes could struggle early, but look for them to put it away with authority in the second half when signal-caller Craig Krenzel gets rolling. Ohio State 31, Texas Tech 14.
